Spinach with oysters and cheese ingredients

  • 10 oz Package frozen chopped
  • Spinach
  • 3 Ribs celery including
  • -leaves, chopped
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1⁄2 bn parsley, chopped
  • 1 STICK butter OR margarine
  • 1 T worchestershire sause
  • 1⁄4 t Tabasco
  • 3⁄4 c Packaged dry cornbread
  • -dressing
  • 1⁄2 pt Oysters, chopped
  • 1 c cheddar cheese, shredded

Cooking Spinach with oysters and cheese

1. Preheat oven to 350^.
2. Greasei a 1. ½ quart casserole.
3. Cook spinach according to package directions and drain well.
4. Lightly saute celery, onion, and parsley in butter until tender.
5. Combine spinach and vegetables with worcestershire, tabasco, cornbread dressing, chopped oysters, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
6. Place mixture in casserole and bake for 25 minutes.
7. Top with shredded cheese and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
8. Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
9. Yield: 6 servings.
