Spinach and walnut salad

Spinach and walnut salad ingredients
- 1 lb Spinach
- 1 t Salt
- 6 Green onions
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 T Lemon juice
- 2 oz Walnuts
Cooking Spinach and walnut salad
1. Wash the spinach very well.
2. Remove the stems.
3. Shake the leaves to remove any surplus water & then pat dry with paper towels (or spin in a lettuce spinner).
4. Tear the leaves into large pieces & arrange on a shallow dish.
5. Sprinkle with the salt, stir in thoroughly & leave to stand for 15 minutes.
6. Drain & squeeze dry. Place the spinach in a bowl.
7. Chopi the green onions finely & sprinkle in the bowl.
8. Mixi together the oil & lemon juice & pour into the bowl.
9. Tossi lightly & sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
