Spicy stew ingredients

  • 3 T flour
  • 1 t Black pepper
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cayenne pepper
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t garlic Powder
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cumin
  • 1 lb Stew beef, cut into 1 inch
  • Cubes
  • 1 T Vegatable oil
  • 1 med Onion, chopped in large
  • Chunks
  • 1 t Dried thyme leaves
  • 3 c Beef broth
  • 1 t Hot sauce
  • 2 med potatoes, cubed
  • 3 Stalks celery; sliced
  • 3 Carrots, sliced

Cooking Spicy stew

1. Combine flour, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and cumin in a plastic bag. Add meat cubes a few at a time, shaking to coat.
2. Heat oil in a large saucepan.
3. Add meat and brown.
4. Add onion and thyme.
5. Cook until onion is tender.
6. Add beef broth and hot sauce and bring to a boil.
7. Reducei heat and add potatoes, celery, and carrots.
8. Cover and simmer for 1 ½ hours.
9. Serves.
