- 8 oz Tomato sauce

- 1 Bay leaf
Cooking Spicy meat balls 'n sauce
1. For meat balls, combine all ingredients thoroughly.
2. Shape to form 12 meat balls.
3. Browni in a small amount of shortening in large skillet.
4. Remove meat balls.
5. for sauce, lightly brown onion and green pepper in drippings.
6. Add remaining ingredients; simmer over low heat about 15 minutes.
7. Add meat balls to sauce; cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
8. Remove bay leaf.
9. Serve with hot buttered rice.
