Spicy Beef Ribbons ingredients

  • 1 lb rump roast, trimmed
  • Marinade
  • 1 c Cilantro -- finely chopped
  • 1 T fresh ginger root -- peeled minced
  • 4 clv garlic, minced
  • 4 T Sesame oil
  • 2 T chili sauce -- hot
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 1 T Rice vinegar
  • 1 whole lime -- juiced
  • pn Sugar (optional)
  • 8 Skewers

Cooking Spicy Beef Ribbons

1. Cut beef into long strips, about 1/8 inch thick.
2. Mixi remaining ingredients.
3. Add beef strips to bowl and marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
4. Weave 1 or more strips of beef on each skewer.
5. Grilli or broil, turning occasionally (2 to 3 minutes each side) or until desired doneness.
