Spanish pork chops ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 cn Stewed toms, Mex style --
  • Lg
  • 1 c Rice -- uncooked
  • 6 sli Cheddar cheese
  • 1⁄2 c water
  • 1⁄2 c Green pepper -- diced
  • 6 Onion slices
  • 1⁄2 t Cumin -- opt
  • 2 t Chili powder

Cooking Spanish pork chops

1. In 9x13 pan place rice, tomatoes, gr pepper, water, chili powder, cumin.
2. Mixi well.
3. Place chops on top. Top each chop with an onion slice.
4. Bakei 325°F for glass pan, 1 hr, covered.
5. Remove from oven and place a slice of cheese on each chop.
6. Return to oven, uncovered, if not all liquid is absorbed, and bake 10 mins or until cheese is melted.
7. Best if made the day before and refrigerated.
