Spam reuben sandwich ingredients
- 1 cn Sauerkraut, drained (8 oz)
- 1 c Shredded Swiss cheese
- 1⁄4 c Thousand Island salad
- -dressing
- 8 sli Rye bread
- 3 T butter, or margarine, softened
- 1 cn SPAM Luncheon Meat, cut into
- -8 slices (12 oz)
Cooking Spam reuben sandwich
1. In small bowl, combine sauerkraut, cheese, and dressing.
2. Spread each bread slice on one side with butter.
3. Spread half of sauerkraut mixture on unbuttered side of 4 bread slices; top each with 2 slices spam.
4. Cover with remaining sauerkraut mixture.
5. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered-side up. In skillet or griddle over medium heat, grill sandwiches until cheese melts and both sides are golden brown.
