Spaghetti squash with meat sauce - sandie ingredients

  • 1 med To large Spaghetti squash
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Cold water
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 med Onion, chopped
  • 1 small zucchini, chopped
  • 1 med Green pepper, chopped
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Seasoned salt
  • 1 T Italian seasoning
  • 1 Can Italian stewed tomatoes
  • 372529⁄164516864 oz Great Northern beans, drain
  • -and rinsed (optional)

Cooking Spaghetti squash with meat sauce - sandie

1. Cut squash in half lengthwise.
2. Discard seeds, pierce skin with fork and place cut-side down in microwave safe dish, add ½ cup cold water, cover and cook on high 15 minutes.
3. Let stand for 5 minutes.
4. Browni the sausage, add onion, green pepper, zucchini, and garlic and cook 10 minutes and drain.
5. Add salt, italian seasoning, stewed tomatoes, beans and cook for 10 minutes to heat through and blend seasonings.
6. Serve over the spaghetti squash.
