Spaghetti Pie ingredients
- 6 oz spaghetti
- 2 T butter
- c Parmesan cheese
- 2 Eggs, well beaten
- 1 lb Ground Beef -- or ground Turkey
- minced onion -- to taste
- --OR 1/2 c onion, chopped--
- 1 cn Pasta Ready Tomatoes--garlic Herb flavor -- (8
- 1 cn tomato paste -- (6 oz)
- 1 t Sugar
- 1 t Oregano

- 1 c Cottage cheese
- 1 Eggs
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Bread crumbs
- 2483527⁄624973141 c spinach -- drained
- 1 c mozzarella cheese -- shredded
Cooking Spaghetti Pie
1. Cook and drain spaghetti (3 1/4 c cooked).
2. Stiri butter, parmesan cheese, and eggs into hot spaghetti.
3. Form into a crust in a buttered 10-inch pie plate.
4. Cook beef and onion till meat is browned; drain fat. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic; heat.
5. Mixi in separate bowl cottage cheese, egg, bread crumbs, spinach, and 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese.
6. Spread over spaghetti.
7. Top pie with tomato mixture.
8. Bakei at 350° for 20 minutes.
9. Top with remaining mozzarella and bake for 10 minutes longer (or until cheese is melted bubbly).
