Spaghetti Aglio E Olio (Spaghetti with Garlic ingredients

  • 3 clv garlic, large, sliced
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 small Hot red pimento, fresh,chop
  • 5 T parsley, fresh, chopped

Cooking Spaghetti Aglio E Olio (Spaghetti with Garlic

1. Fill a large saucepan with 7 pints (5L) of cold water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
2. Add 2TB salt and return to a rolling boil.
3. Add pasta and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally with a plastic or wooden fork.
4. When cooked, remove from water immediately.
5. Do not rinse.
6. While the pasta is cooking, prepare your sauce.
7. In a skillet, saute the garlic in oil over medium heat until transparent; add the hot pimento and parsley.
8. Reducei hat to low, add spaghetti and mix gently.
9. Seasoni generously with black pepper and serve immediately.
10. If desired, add grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese to taste.
