- 2 Dozen Oysters
- 6 c Milk
- 4 T butter

- 1 ds Of pepper
Cooking Southern oyster soup
1. From: gone with the wind cook book; valerie whittle paprika heat oyster liquor to boiling point.
2. Add oysters and simmer until edges curl.
3. Scaldi milk; add butter, oysters, liquor, and seasonings.
4. Serve at once in hot soup bowls with a dash of paprika over soup.
