Southern Chutney

Southern Chutney ingredients
- 4 c Vinegar
- 2 c Mango
- 4 c Apple
- 2 c Light-brown sugar
- 2 T Hot chili peppers
- 1 c Seedless raisins
- 1 c Candied ginger
- 1 c Lemon Zest
- 2 T garlic
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Mustard seed
- 2 t Kosher salt
- 2 t Powdered sugar;
Cooking Southern Chutney
1. Heat vinegar in a saucepot, over a medium flame Bring to a boil, add mangoes and apples Return to the boil, reduce heat, and simmer until fruit has softened Add brown sugar, chiles, raisins, ginger, lemon zest, and garlic-mix well Add mustard seeds, slat, and powdered sugar-mix well.
2. Heat and stir for 15-20 minutes, until thoroughly blended process to seal in canning jars Or cover and chill for up to 4 days.
3. Serve at room temperature.
