Sopa De Frijol Negro(Cuban Black Bean Soup) ingredients
- 1 c Onion, chopped
- 3 clv garlic, finely chopped
- 2 T Vegatable oil
- 1 lb dried black beans
- 3 c Beef broth
- 3 c water
- 1 c cooked smoked ham -- finely chopped
- 1 c Green pepper, chopped
- 1 large Tomatoes, chopped

- 372529⁄-2009260032 t Ground cumin
- 372529⁄-2009260032 t Dried oregano
- 4 hard-coo eggs -- chopped
- 1 small Onion, chopped
Cooking Sopa De Frijol Negro(Cuban Black Bean Soup)
1. Cook 1 cup onion and the garlic in oil in Dutch oveni until tender.
2. Add remaining ingredients, except chopped egg and onions; heat to boiling.
3. Boil 2 minutes; reduce heat.
4. Cover and simmer until beans are tender, about 2 hours.
5. Serve with chopped eggs and onions.
