Soft almond cookies ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Light margarine
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Almond food extract
  • 4 dr Yellow food coloring
  • 1 c flour
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Baking soda
  • 12 Toasted almonds, cut in half

Cooking Soft almond cookies

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Spray cookie sheet with oil spray.
3. In bowl, cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add egg whites with almond extract, and food coloring; mix well and set aside.
5. Sifti the flour, baking soda, and salt; add to the creamed mixture.
6. Kneadi only long enough to blend, but not toughen, to dough.
7. Spoon onto prepared cookie sheet, about ¾-in.
8. Balls.
9. Top with almonds.
10. Bakei for 12 minutes.
