Snowdrop cookies

- Yield:
Snowdrop cookies ingredients
- 3 Egg whites, at room temp
- 1⁄4 t Cream of tartar OR
- 1 t Vinegar, white
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 3⁄4 c Sugar, granulated
- 1⁄4 c Choc. Chips, Semisweet, sm.
Cooking Snowdrop cookies
1. In mixer bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
2. Add cream of tartar and vanilla extract; beat until stiff peaks form.
3. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition.
4. Foldi in chocolate chips.
5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased foil-lined cookie sheet and bake in preheated 250 degree oven 25 minutes.
6. Turn off oven and leave cookies 30 minutes more.
7. Outsides will be hard; insides will be slightly soft.
