Snickerdoodles ingredients

  • 1 c shortening (part butter or
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c All-purpose flour
  • 2 t Cream of tartar
  • 1 t Baking soda
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 2 T Sugar
  • 2 t Cinnamon

Cooking Snickerdoodles

1. Heat oven to 400 (med hot).
2. Mixi shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, and eggs throughly.
3. Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; stir in. Shape dough in 1 inch balls.
4. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
5. Place 2 apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bakei 8 to 10 minutes.
7. These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out. Makes: 6 dozen.
