Sliced chicken with broccoli

Sliced chicken with broccoli ingredients
- 1⁄3 lb Broccoli
- 1⁄2 lb Skinless boneless chicken
- -breast
- 2 t Cornstarch
- 1 T soy sauce
- 1⁄2 t lemon extract
- 1 T Canola oil
- 1 T Minced fresh ginger
- 1 Scallion minced
- 2 T Dry sherry
- 1⁄2 t Pepper
- 1⁄2 t Sugar
- 2 t Asian sesame oil
Cooking Sliced chicken with broccoli
1. Trim stems frombroccoli.
2. Cut chicken breast crosswise on an angle into ¼-inch-thick slices.
3. In a small bowl, toss chicken with cornstarch, soy sauce, and lemon extract.
4. In a wok or frying pan, heat oil 10 seconds over medium heat.
5. Add broccoli and stir-fry to coat with oil. Add 2 tb water, reduce heat to low, cover and cook until broccoli is just tender, about 2 minutes.
6. With a slotted spoon remove to a plate.
7. Return wok to high heat.
8. Add ginger and scallion and stir-fry until aromatic, about 10 seconds.
9. Add chicken and stir-fry until white and opaque throughout, about 5 minutes.
10. Add sherry, pepper, sugar, and broccoli.
11. Stir-fryi about 30 seconds to heat through.
12. Remove from heat, drizzle with sesame oil, and serve.
