Sicilian pasta with meat sauce

Sicilian pasta with meat sauce ingredients
- 2 t olive oil
- 1 c Onions, finely chopped
- 2 t garlic, minced
- 1 t Cumin
- 1⁄2 t Cinnamon
- 1 lb Ground Beef, Lean
- 1 t Salt
- 1⁄2 t Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 T Tomato paste
- 28 oz Can
- 1⁄3 c raisins, seedless
- 1 lb pasta -- cooked
- 1⁄4 c parsley, chopped
- 1⁄4 c pine nuts -- toasted
- Tomatoes
Cooking Sicilian pasta with meat sauce
1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add onions and cook, stirring, until translucent, 5 minutes.
3. Stiri in garlic, cumin and cinnamon and cook 30 seconds.
4. Add beef, salt and pepper; cook crumbling beef with spoon, until browned, 5 minutes.
5. Stir in tomato paste, tomatoes with their liquid and raisins.
6. Bring to boil, breakig up tomatoes with spoon.
7. Reducei heat and simmer 10 minutes.
8. Tossi sauce with pasta and parsley.
9. Sprinkle with pine nuts.
