Shrimp Pilau ingredients
- 4 T butter
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Finely chopped celery
- 2 T Chopped bell pepper
- 2 c Medium whole shrimp
- 1 T worchestershire sause
- 1 t Ground cayenne pepper
- 1 T flour
- Salt and pepper
- 3 c Cooked white rice -- hot
- 4 Slices fried crisp bacon
Cooking Shrimp Pilau
1. Melt the butter and add celery and bell pepper.
2. Cook until soft.
3. Meanwhile, sprinkle the shrimp with worcestershire sauce and mix cayenne and flour together.
4. Stiri shrimp in the flour and add to the butter mixture.
5. Stir and simmer until the shrimp are cooked, about 5 minutes.
6. Seasoni with salt and pepper.
7. Combine with the hot cooked rice and bacon, crumbled with its drippings.
