Shrimp Marinara Pasta ingredients

  • 8 oz shrimp
  • 1⁄4 c Onions
  • 2 T Green bell pepper
  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 8 oz Canned tomato sauce
  • 3 oz Tomato paste
  • 1⁄2 c water
  • 1 t Sugar
  • 1⁄2 t Dried basil
  • 1⁄2 t Oregano
  • 1⁄8 t Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 oz Pasta

Cooking Shrimp Marinara Pasta

1. Cook onion, green pepper and garlic in hot oil until tender in 1-quart skillet or soup pot. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and seasonings.
2. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add shrimp.
4. Cover and simmer for approximately 3 minutes longer or until shrimp are tender.
5. Serve over cooked pasta.
