Shrimp Cakes ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Italian bread crumbs
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 lb cooked shrimp -- chopped
  • 5 Eggs, beaten
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c parsley, chopped
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Mayonnaise
  • 3 T Dijon mustard
  • 1 t Salt
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 t worchestershire sause
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cayenne pepper
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Tabasco sauce
  • Beaten eggs and bread crumbs -- for dipping
  • Oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Cooking Shrimp Cakes

1. Mixi all ingredients to blend thoroughly.
2. For each cake, shape 1/4 cup of batter into a patty 1 inch thick.
3. Dip into additional beaten eggs and coat with addit ional bread crumbs.
4. Deep fry at 350^ until golden and crisp, about 3 minutes fo r each.
5. Garnishi with lemon wedges.
