Shortcrust Pastry ingredients
- 372529⁄-2009260032 c Plain flour
- 125 g cold butter, coarsly chopped
- 1 Egg yolks
- 3 t ice-cold water
Cooking Shortcrust Pastry
1. Sifti flour into bowl, rub in butter (or process flour and butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs).
2. Add egg yolk and enough water to make ingredients cling together (or process until ingredients just come together).
3. Press dough into a ball, knead gently on lightly floured surface until smooth.
4. Wrap in plastic, refrigerate 30 minutes.
