Shepherd's pie 8 ingredients

  • 5 large Potatoes
  • Salt
  • 2 T butter Or margarine
  • 1 ds Milk/whipping cream
  • Pepper
  • 1 lb Lean ground beef
  • 1 large Tomatoes, chopped
  • 6 Sliced Mushrooms
  • 2 T Chopped parsley
  • 1 T Tomato paste
  • 1 ds worchestershire sause
  • 1 c Brown gravy
  • 1 pk (10-oz) frozen peas or 1 lb
  • -peas shelled

Cooking Shepherd's pie 8

1. Cook potatoes in salted water to cover.
2. Drain, cool and peel.
3. Mash in large bowl with butter, milk and season to taste with salt and pepper.
4. Set aside.
5. Sautei beef until browned, stirring to keep meat crumbly.
6. Seasoni to taste with salt and pepper.
7. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, parsley, tomato paste, worcestershire and gravy.
8. Stiri to mix. Add peas and cook about 5 minutes.
9. Turn mixture into casserole.
10. Spread potatoes evenly over meat.
11. Bakei at 400 degrees 40 minutes until top is crispy brown.
