Seasoned rice pilaf ingredients
- 2 T butter
- 1 Onions, small, chopped
- 2 c rice, long grain
- 2 c chicken broth or bouillon
- 372529⁄-2009260032 c water
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Oregano or thyme
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper
Cooking Seasoned rice pilaf
1. Place rice into a strainer and hold under cold running water.
2. Rinse rice until water runs clear.
3. Place butter and onion into inner pan. Cook onion until soft (about 3 to 5 minutes).
4. Pour in rice and cook about 5 minutes longer, stirring often.
5. Add remaining ingredients.
6. Cover and cook until chime rings.
7. Allow pilaf to stand 10 minutes or warm before serving.
8. Time: 50 minutes.
