Seafood Strudel

Seafood Strudel ingredients
- 1 T butter
- 1 c Onions
- 1 t garlic
- 8 oz Smoked salmon
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Dry white wine
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2 t worchestershire sause
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Liquid hot pepper sauce
- 3 oz Phyllo Dough
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Unsalted butter
- 2 T blanched almonds
Cooking Seafood Strudel
1. Sautei onion in butter, until softened.
2. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
3. Add seafood and wine.
4. Simmeri until all liquid has evaporated.
5. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
6. Combine seafood mixture, cream cheese, salt, and worcestershire sauce-mix well.
7. Add tabasco sauce to taste.
8. Place 2 filo sheets onto a damp kitchen towel and brush with melted butter.
9. Add 2 more sheets and brush with butter.
10. Repeat until 8 sheets are stacked.
11. Spoon filling onto 1 edge of filo, leaving 3-inches on each side clear.
12. Foldi dough over filling twice.
13. Fold in edges and fold to the end. Seal loose edge with butter.
14. Place, seam side down, onto a greased jelly roll pan. Scorei top to allow steam to escape.
15. Brush top with butter.
16. Finish browning under a broiler if necessary.
17. Slice into portions.
18. Garnishi with almonds.
19. Serve warm or at room temperature.
