Scallops in double pepper sauce ingredients

  • 1⁄4 c olive oil
  • 5 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 lb Bay or sea scallops
  • 3⁄4 c Slivered Red Peppers
  • 3⁄4 c Slivered Green Peppers
  • 1⁄2 c Chopped onion
  • 1⁄2 t Tabasco pepper sauce
  • 1⁄4 t Salt
  • 2 T Drained capers

Cooking Scallops in double pepper sauce

1. Slivers of red and green bell peppers give this quickly prepared dish vibrant color, and the garlic, tabasco sauce and capers provide lots of flavor.
2. ~-- in a large skillet, heat the oil and add the garlic.
3. Cook until golden, about 1 minute.
4. Add the scallops, peppers, onion, tabasco sauce and salt.
5. Stirring constantly, cook for 5 minutes, or until the scallops turn white and the vegetables are crisp-tender.
6. Stir in the capers and serve immediately.
