Scallion Cake Appetizers

Scallion Cake Appetizers ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 3⁄4 c water
- 1 T Sesame oil
- 1 t Salt
- 2 t Scallions
- 1 t Cilantro
- 3 T Sesame seeds
- 1⁄4 c Peanut oil
Cooking Scallion Cake Appetizers
1. Place flour into a bowl and make a well in the center.
2. Pour in the water-mix well and knead for 7-8 minutes.
3. Cover with a towel and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
4. Kneadi for 3-4 minutes.
5. Roll into a rope and cut into 12 equal portions.
6. Roll each portion into an 4-inch pancake.
7. Brush with sesame oil sprinkle with salt, scallions, cilantro (if used), and sesame seeds.
8. Rollup tightly into a thin rope.
9. Shape into a spiral and flatten slightly.
10. Heat peanut oil in a large skillet, over a medium flame.
11. Add scallion cakes and fry for 2-½ to 3 minutes per side, until lightly browned on both sides.
12. Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
