Saucy chicken and asparagus

Saucy chicken and asparagus ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lb Asparagues spears -- fresh Halved
- 4 Boneless skinless chicken
- Breast halves
- 2 T Cooking oil
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 1⁄4 t Pepper
- 10 1⁄4 oz Can
- -
- 1⁄2 c Mayonnaise
- 1 t Lemon juice
- 1⁄2 t curry powder
- 1 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
- Cream Of chicken Soup -- undiluted
Cooking Saucy chicken and asparagus
1. If desired, partially cook asparagus.
2. Drain.
3. Place the asparagus in a greased, 9" square baking dish.
4. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the chicken in oil on both sides.
5. Seasoni with salt and pepper.
6. Arrange chicken over asparagus.
7. In a bowl, mix soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder.
8. Pour over chicken.
9. Cover and bake at 375°F.
10. for 40 minutes or until the chicken is tender and juices run clear.
11. Sprinkle with cheese.
12. Let stand for 5 minutes.
