Sand Tarts (Real Old German Style)

Sand Tarts (Real Old German Style) ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 2 c butter
- 2 Eggs, well beaten
- 1 Egg whites
- 4 c flour
- pecans
- Cinnamon
Cooking Sand Tarts (Real Old German Style)
1. Creami the butter and sugar together.
2. Slowly add the flour, working it in well.
3. Add the well-beaten eggs and mix thoroughly.
4. Chill over night.
5. Roll out thin on lightly floured board; brush cookies with the egg white which has been slightly beaten, sprinkle with sugar and a little cinnamon and press 1/2 pecan into center of cookie.
6. Bakei at 350-F about 10 minutes.
