Salsa ranchera ingredients

  • 2 T Oil
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and seeded
  • 1 t Salt
  • 2 t Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Pinch of sugar
  • 12 oz Can of jalapenos
  • 1 T Vinegar

Cooking Salsa ranchera

1. Rinse and chop the jalapenos.
2. Heat oil in skillet.
3. Add tomatoes and cook down to thick puree.
4. Seasoni and remove from heat.
5. Add chiles and vinegar, mix well.
6. Makes 1 ½ cups.
