Salmon Slices Baked In Cream

Salmon Slices Baked In Cream ingredients
- 2 lb Salmon piece
- 4 c Cream light
- 1⁄2 Bay leaf
- 2 cloves
- 1⁄2 Onions, sliced
- 4 parsley Sprigs
- 1 thyme to taste
- 1⁄4 c butter
- 1⁄4 c flour
- 1 t Lemon juice
- 1 Salt to taste
- 1 pepper, to taste
Cooking Salmon Slices Baked In Cream
1. Arrange serving size pieces of salmon in a buttered baking dish.
2. Seasoni with salt and pepper.
3. Pour in enough cream to leave salmon slightly exposed.
4. Add bayleaf, cloves, onion slices, parsley and thyme.
5. Bakei at 400/F for 25 minutes, basting occasionally.
6. Remove salmon and keep warm.
7. In a saucepan melt butter and stir in the flour.
8. Gradually add 2 cups of the cream the fish was cooked in. Stiri constantly until smooth and thickened.
9. Season with salt and pepper and the lemon juice then simmer for 10 minutes.
10. Pour the sauce over the fish to serve.
11. Garnishi with lemon wedges, sliced cucumber and sliced boiled eggs.
