Salmon in Filo ingredients

  • 2 Egg
  • 1 c Cottage cheese
  • 1⁄2 c Cucumber
  • 1 t dill
  • 1⁄4 t Lemon pepper
  • 1⁄2 lb Salmon
  • 12 sheets frozen filo dough
  • 3⁄4 c Unsalted butter

Cooking Salmon in Filo

1. Combine eggs, cottage cheese, cucumber, dill, lemon pepper, and salmon-mix well, set aside.
2. Brush 1 filo sheet with melted butter.
3. Top with another sheet and brush with butter.
4. Repeat for a total of 3 sheets.
5. Cover remaining sheets with a damp towel to keep moist.
6. Cut, lengthwise into 2-inch strips.
7. Place 1 tablespoon salmon mixture onto one end of a strip fold end over filling, diagonally, to form a triangle continue to fold, edge over edge, to fully enclose on all sides.
8. Place onto an ungreased baking sheet.
9. Repeat with remaining strips.
10. Repeat process remaining sheets and filling.
11. Brush tops with butter.
12. Serve warm or at room temperature.
