Rich Cheddar Fondue ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Bacon
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Onions
  • 2 t flour
  • 4 c Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c Sour cream
  • 1 t worchestershire sause

Cooking Rich Cheddar Fondue

1. Fryi bacon until crisp in a skillet, over a moderate flame remove from pan to drain a cooling rack and blot with paper towels.
2. Crumble bacon and set aside.
3. Drain all but 1 tablespoon fat from skillet.
4. Set over a medium flame.
5. Add onions and saute for 5-6 minutes, until softened, without browning.
6. Sprinkle flour over onions.
7. Heat and stir for 1-2 minutes.
8. Add cheese and sour cream.
9. Heat and stir until melted.
10. Transfer to a chafing dish or fondue pot. Garnishi with crumbled bacon.
11. Serve hot.
