Rhubarb Crumble ingredients

  • 3 c Rhubarb; sliced 1/2" pieces
  • 1 c Apples; peeled, cubed
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Strawberries; sliced
  • c Sugar, granulated
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cinnamon; ground
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c flour, all-purpose
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 4 T butter Or margarine
  • c Sugar, brown; packed
  • c Quick-Cooking Oats
  • vanilla ice cream, optional

Cooking Rhubarb Crumble

1. Combine rhubarb, apples and strawberries; spoon into a greased 8 inch square baking dish.
2. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over rhubarb mixture.
3. Set aside.
4. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
5. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
6. Stiri in brown sugar and oats.
7. Sprinkle over rhubarb mixture.
8. Bakei at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until lightly browned.
9. Serve warm or cold with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.
10. Yield: 6-8 servings.
