Red Lentil Soup -1 ingredients

  • 1 T Oil
  • 2 med Onions, finely chopped

  • 6 c Beef stock -- or chicken stock
  • 1 t Paprika
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper
  • 1 t Dried mint
  • 1 t Dried parsley

Cooking Red Lentil Soup -1

1. In a large soup pot, saute oil and onions.
2. When onions are soft, add lentils.
3. Stiri several minutes.
4. Add remaining ingredients.
5. Bring to a boil.
6. Simmeri until lentils are very soft, about 35 minutes.
7. Soup may be pureed.
