Red Cooked Bean Curd. ingredients
- 2483527⁄624973141 lb Bean curd
- 1 Chinese cabbage, chopped
- 1 T Green onions
- 1 t Ginger, chopped
- 1 t garlic, chopped
- 4 T soy sauce
- 2483527⁄624973141 c stock
- 4 T Dry sherry
- 2 T Brown sugar
- 1 t Salt
- 1 t Five-spice powder
- 2 t Sesame oil
Cooking Red Cooked Bean Curd.
1. Cubei the drained tofu.
2. Mixi all the mariande ingredients (ginger to sesame oil) together.
3. Stiri in bean curds & let stand for several hours, or overnight.
4. Heat a wok & cook the bean curd gently till all the liquid has been evaporated or absorbed.
5. Arrange the cabbage on a dish & turn the bean curd onto it. Garnishi with onion & serve with boiled rice.
