Raw Kibbee ingredients
- 2 lb Round steak or lamb
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Fine bulgar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Cumin
- 1 t Salt
- olive oil
Cooking Raw Kibbee
1. Put bulgar in a bowl and cover with warm water.
2. The water should cover the bulgar and be about 1 inch above the bulgar.
3. Let soak until water is absorbed and bulgar is soft.
4. (about 1/2 hour) Remove ALL fat and membranes from meat(I prefer beef) and grind twice.
5. Combine meat, bulgar, cumin, and salt.
6. Mixi by hand until throughly mixed.
7. Pat kibbee onto a platter or plate.
8. Make a hole in middle of kibbee and fill with olive oil. Serve with pita bread.
9. Serve immediately.
