Quick raisin bread ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Baking soda
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • c Sugar
  • 1 c Raisins
  • 2 c Cereal flakes
  • 1 Eggs
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c buttermilk
  • 4 T Shortening, Melted

Cooking Quick raisin bread

1. Dredgei raisins in small amount of flour, sift dry ingredients together and add raisins and cereal.
2. Beat eggs slightly, add milk and melted shortening, blend well with first mixture but do not overmix.
3. Bakei in greased loaf pan 350°F.
4. About 1 hour.
5. Note: type of cereal not given, corn or bran could probably be used.
