Quick Crawfish Etouffee

Quick Crawfish Etouffee ingredients
- 3⁄4 c butter
- 1 c Onion
- 1⁄2 c Green bell pepper
- 2 c Celery
- 1 T flour
- 1 c water
- 1 lb crawfish tails
- 1 t Salt
- 1⁄4 t Pepper
- 1⁄4 t Tabasco sauce
- 2 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄4 t thyme
- 1 c Scallions
- 2 T parsley
- 6 c Cooked rice
Cooking Quick Crawfish Etouffee
1. Heat butter in a saucepot, over a medium flame.
2. Add onions, bell peppers, and celery.
3. Heat and stir for 5-6 minutes.
4. Add flour; heat and stir for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add water, reduce flame to low, heat, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often.
6. Add crawfish, salt, pepper, tabasco, worcestershire, thyme, scallions, and parsley.
7. Simmeri for 5-10 minutes, just to heat crawfish through serve over hot cooked rice.
