- 6 Apples, cored and finely cho 1 ½ ts Ground cinnamon

- 2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 t Ground nutmeg
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Ground cloves
Cooking Quick and easy apple butter
1. Place apples and apple cider in 1 ½-quart micro-proof bowl.
2. Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
3. Microwave on high 15 minutes.
4. Carefully remove plastic wrap and stir in remaining ingredients.
5. Return to microwave and cook, uncovered, 10 minutes more, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes.
6. Transfer mixture to a blender of food processor and process until smooth.
7. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
8. Yield: about 2 pints of apple butter.
