Pudding mix pecan pie ingredients

  • 372529⁄-2009260032 oz Vanilla pudding mix, (regular or instant)
  • 1 c White or dark corn syrup
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Evaporated milk, (NOT sweetened condensed milk)
  • 1 Egg; lightly beaten
  • 1 c Chopped pecans
  • 1 Unbaked 8-or 9-inch pie shell
  • Whole pecans for garnish -
  • (optional)

Cooking Pudding mix pecan pie

1. Blend dry pudding mix with the corn syrup.
2. Gradually add evaporated milk and egg, mixing well.
3. Stiri in pecans.
4. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
5. Bakei on center shelf in preheated 375 degree oven until firm, about 35 minutes.
6. Garnishi with whole pecans, if desired.
7. Cool at least 3 hours before cutting.
8. Makes one pie. (this is an iowa recipe from the cookbook, "iowa homecoming "86" (the official cookbook of the 1986 iowa homecoming committee).
