Prune whip ingredients

  • 1 c Cooked dried prunes
  • -- drained and pitted
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Cooked oatmeal, cooled*
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cinnamon
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar

Cooking Prune whip

1. Mash prunes; stir in oatmeal and cinnamon; set aside.
2. Beat egg whites until frothy.
3. Gradually add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, beating constantly until stiff and glossy.
4. gently fold in prune mixture.
5. Spoon into 6 individual dishes or large serving dish.
6. Chill several hours or until set. *note: cook quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked) according to package directions.
