Portuguese Barbecue Sauce ingredients

  • 1 c Sherry
  • 1⁄4 c olive oil
  • 3⁄4 c Red onion
  • 1 T garlic
  • 1 T Kosher salt
  • 1⁄2 t Pepper
  • 1⁄2 t tarragon

Cooking Portuguese Barbecue Sauce

1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan, over a moderate flame heat to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Use as a baste.
