Pork chops with lemon, garlic and oregano

Pork chops with lemon, garlic and oregano ingredients
- Marinade
- 1 1⁄3 c olive oil
- 1 T Each grated lemon peel
- Lemon juice
- 1 T Finely chopped garlic
- 1 T Dried oregano, crumbled
- 1⁄2 t Salt and pepper
- 6 1 ¼" thick center cut or
- Loin cut chops
Cooking Pork chops with lemon, garlic and oregano
1. Mixi marinade ingredients in a gallon-size ziptop food bag. Add pork chops, press out air, seal and turn to distribute mairnade.
2. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes but not more then 8 hours.
3. Remove chops from marinade and sprinkle both sides with salt, dicard marinade.
4. To grill or broil: place chops 4-5 inches from heat source.
5. Cook, turning once, until barely pink near the bone, about 15 minutes.
