Pork chop casserole 2 ingredients

  • 3 pork chops
  • 1 med Onion, chopped
  • 14 1⁄2 oz Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cn Beef broth, * see note
  • 1 c Rice, uncooked
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 T Marjoram
  • 1 T thyme

Cooking Pork chop casserole 2

1. brown chops on each side with onions in a skillet in some oil or cooking spray and set aside.
2. In a greased, shallow casserole (9x13), spread raw rice out into a layer.
3. Top with pork chops and onions.
4. Pour can of tomatoes over chops and then consomme, adding a ½ can (from the consomme can) of water.
5. Sprinkle spices evenly over top of casserole.
6. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
7. serves 4.
