Popcorn crackles ingredients

  • 1 c molasses
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 3 qt Popped corn
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 1 T butter

Cooking Popcorn crackles

1. Melt butter.
2. Add sugar, salt, and molasses.
3. Boil to the hard crack stage (285 - 290°F).
4. Pour over corn, stir while pouring.
5. Spread in thin layer to cool.
6. Break in pieces.
7. The household searchlight.
