Polenta #1 ingredients

- 1 c Yellow cornmeal
- 1 c Cold water
- 1 t Salt
- 4 c Boiling water
- 2 t butter
- 2483527⁄624973141 c butter, melted
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Parmesan cheese, grated
Cooking Polenta #1
1. Combine cornmeal, cold water, and salt.
2. Stiri into the boiling water.
3. Stir constantly over low heat for about 15 minutes.
4. Add 2 tablespoons butter and stir.
5. Sprinkle each individual serving with some of the melted butter and some of the grated cheese.
6. Serve hot. SAUTEED POLENTA: Put any leftover polenta in a shallow pan and refrigerate.
7. Cut into 1/2-inch slices and slowly saute the slices in a mixture of half olive oil and half butter.
8. Serve with grated Parmesani cheese or with Marinarai Saucei.
