Poached Sea Steaks

Poached Sea Steaks ingredients
- 4 firm fish steak
- 2 c water
- 2 Garlic clove
- 2 green onions including tops
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Black peppercorns
Cooking Poached Sea Steaks
1. In a skillet, combine poaching liquid with spices and bring to a simmer.
2. Simmeri for 5 minutes, to develop flavors; add fish steaks.
3. If liquid does not cover the steaks, add additional liquid until fish is covered.
4. Simmer 10 minutes per inch thickness of steaks.
5. Remove steaks with a slotted spatula to serving plate.
6. Serve with a tartar sauce or homemade yogurt/mayonnaise combination.
7. Note: Poaching liquid can be water, broth, white wine, or a combination.
