Poached eggs for four ingredients
- 2 qt Hot water
- 2 t Salt
- 1⁄2 t White vinegar
- 8 Eggs
Cooking Poached eggs for four
1. Heat water, salt and vinegar in a deep, heat-resistant, non- metallic casserole until boiling (about 6 minutes).
2. Carefully break eggs into boiling water, one at a time.
3. Heat, covered, in microwave oven 3 minutes or until almost done.
4. Allow eggs to stand at room temperature in the water 3 to 4 minutes to finish cooking.
5. If necessary, return to microwave oven 30 seconds to 1 minute additional cooking to each desired degree of doneness.
