Pizza carcoifi ingredients
- 1 Recipe for Traditional Pizza
- Dough, shaped, ready for
- TOPPING
- -TOPPING
- 2 T Tomato Topping
- 2 oz Fontina cheese, shredded
- 5 oz Marinated artichoke hearts
- 8 Sun-dried tomatoes in oil
- Salt and pepper
- Parsley leaves, for garnish

- 1 lb Tomatoes, peeled

- 16 oz Canned tomatoes
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 Onions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 T Tomato paste

- 1 T Fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper
Cooking Pizza carcoifi
1. Make tomato topping.
2. Chopi tomatoes, if using fresh.
3. Heat oil in a medium saucepan.
4. Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
5. Stiri in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar and basil.
6. Seasoni to taste with salt and pepper.
7. Cover pan and simmer 30 minutes until thick.
8. Preheat oven to 425°F.
9. Spread the dough with tomato topping.
10. Sprinkle with cheese.
11. Drain artichokes, reserving oil. Drain tomatoes.
12. Slice artichokes and arrange over the cheese.
13. Chop tomatoes roughly and sprinkle over the artichokes.
14. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
15. Sprinkle with 1 to 2 tablespoons of the reserved oil. Bakei 20 minutes until dough is golden.
16. Garnishi with parsley.
